Hi!

So we’ve been interacting for a while, and I thought maybe you should know a little more about me than just my writing. In the end, I’ll put in a link for you to read one of my writings this week if you want to.

1. I lived away from my parents from I was 12 till 23 (boarding school, then university).

2. My dad named me after his school crush.

3. I read my monthly horoscope with loads of excitement each month. If there’s something negative, I believe it’ll be for other Geminis but not me. :X

4. I started to enjoy reading after I read The Princess Diaries series and other pre-teen books by Meg Cabot.

5. I’m a hardcore believer of The Law of Attraction.

6. I love egg-white cocktails. I discovered them in a bar called Be At One which is all across London, and I went there 3 days in a row (in all different branches). Even in India, I try my best to get custom drinks made when I’m out for a cocktails evening.

7. My favourite shows include Atypical, Sense8, Sex Education, and Suits.

8. I have never watched popular shows such as Friends, Californication, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones.

9. I wanted to be a writer when I was 13, the dream died when I graduated high school and had to choose ‘specific subjects’ to pursue in college for. ‘successful career’.

10. I do feel I’m quite a hippie in nature. I’ve never understood why people take life seriously, why we have to work for certain hours and die to get X% raise, or why society pushes us to have uniform opinions.

11. I almost always believe that things happen for a reason, and it’ll be okay.

12. I’ve been writing a gratitude journal since 2017.

13. Throughout the pandemic, I’ve eaten 1–2 homemade pizzas a week. Funnily, I rarely order pizzas when I’m out.

14. I ate an octopus by mistake when I was in Spain. It was deep-fried so I thought it’s just fried chicken. :/

15. My favourite dessert is hot chocolate fudge and cheesecake.

16. I can’t cook at all and don’t intend to learn it. I can make tea and instant noodles though.

17. I eat a piece of dark chocolate each day. My favourite brand is Patchi.

18. In September’20, I had a major life shift after I read a book. I wrote in my diary to quit my job, be a writer, and earn well before I turn 25. I’m turning 25 in a few weeks and am serving my notice period at work. You can read about the books that helped me here by clicking here.

19. I download Instagram once a week for a few minutes so my brain doesn’t get dopamine hits from there.

20. I recently found out that I’m 80% introverted, my mom and I disagree because we both feel I talk non-stop. My personality type is INFJ-A.
