Hi friend,
I think it’s easy to get so caught in our mess that we let the big picture slip.
Picture this. You’re having a bad day, and think
“My life sucks.”
“Everything bad happens to me.”
“I should just quit XYZ task because I underperformed.”
Of course, this is common. Not feeling low would mean you weren’t committed or interested enough that you’re unharmed and unreactive.
But dwelling on feeling miserable?
Don’t do that. I did this week and I can tell you it sucks.
You’re better than that.
Sometimes, things not going how they always have or taking another turn doesn’t mean it’s bad. It doesn’t mean you’re incapable. In the larger cosmos of things, it’s probably all a part of the big plan.
And apart from that, how else would you develop
courage
resilience
perseverance
Not everybody keeps going when the going gets tough. Make that your competitive advantage, to keep going no matter what.
Your feelings aren’t you.
Your momentary reaction isn’t your personality trait.
Your temporary downfalls or twists and turns don’t define your potential.
And if I can say, it’s a beginning.
It creates a foundation for developing strength to be able to let go, gain your potential, and be free of attachment.
Does that make sense?
What I Wrote This Week
Here’s what I published this week on Medium:
Launched This Weekend
My course, LinkedIn Ultimate Content Mastery is finally live.
Why a LinkedIn course?
Because I think anybody can tell compelling stories that attract readers and opportunities. And that doesn’t happen with ‘strategies’. If ten of us follow the same strategy, how can we be unique?
And as humans, being unique is our essence of living.
If you know about my LinkedIn content you’d know that I advocate creating from a place of self-awareness.
This course has that take on ‘making it’ on LinkedIn.

See you next week :)
