So Much to Pack In This Newsletter
I have quite a lot to say to you today. Without wasting much time, let’s dive right in.
We crossed 1,000 subscribers!
Can you believe I had around 350 subscribers on July 01? People are right when they say that growth is not always linear.
I’m in awe, it means the world to me that people chose to sign up to read something I write and devote time to read it. Please know I’m so grateful to get a bit of your precious time :”) If we’re talking numbers, most of you open my newsletters. Yay!
People Are Giving Love to My (Yet to Be Launched) Ebook!
My ebook is due next week and I ran it through 3 people. One is yet to get back to me, but here’s what the other two have to say. I asked them if it fits the purpose.
The purpose is :
Improve awareness about side hustles
Show how can you start one
Enables people to get inspired to have an alternate income source this year
Here’s what they have to say:
I can’t wait for you all to have your hands on it!
My Surgery Date Is Finalised!
It’s on the 12th of September with 3 days of hospitalisation. I connected with a few people who’ve got their ACL reconstruction surgery done, though they’ve got it done on one knee and I’m getting it done in both at the same time. I’m also researching about the rehab bit every day.
So far I’ve learnt that the first 14 days are hell with the pain but you can start walking perfectly in 4 weeks and a little bit post 15 days. I’m so scared because this is my first ever surgery but I hope I can stay strong.
Until then, I’m being really outgoing and partying often haha because I probably can’t until next year now. I’m not big on partying and prefer to sleep and wake up early, but I guess I just want to make good use of the next week until I get confined to my room for the following weeks.
I Got Love-Bombed on an Article
In less than 48 hours, it had thousands of views and claps. It’s weird because I thought nobody would want to read about my personal experiences and (sort of) rant. I didn’t even expect it to get accepted in any publication, but Medium’s largest publication accepted it!
Yesterday, it was delivered in the publication’s newsletter trending at #2. Isn’t that amazing :O
I feel sometimes we sell ourselves short and put down ourselves big time. Instead of a motivational quote, what works for me is being fearless with my creativity and not giving a flying pink fish about what the outcome is.
I keep firing shots and let the results happen wherever they do. This was one such example of that. So if you’re struggling with your inner self-doubt, honestly, just let it all out.
That’s all for today, friends.
I’m not going to lie to you, I’m shit scared about my ebook releasing. I’m scared of zero people downloading it. I’m scared if people will call it shit.
But I’m gonna battle that anyway and fire it out because being scared isn’t the solution to anything. Hell, I'm terribly scared of my surgery, immobility, pain, and not working out. But that’s a pain I’m going to cry about next week, haha!
In case you missed out, I submitted the following stories to a writing competition on Medium. You can read them here:

Maybe consider being a Medium subscriber? It pretty much changed my life.
