And this isn’t a quick fix on making money online or something, I hope it genuinely helps you get closer to your purpose and align with it. With our hyper-stimulated lives, we are getting out of touch with ourselves.
So I hope this book can take you inwards.

I’m going in for surgery tomorrow
Tomorrow after lunch is when I get admitted to the hospital. I’ve already downloaded 2 e-books on my Kindle and will carry 1-2 physical books (the girl needs options depending on the mood!).
I’m obviously very nervous, but I’m looking forward. You know why? Because for a decade I’ve been cautious about my movement as my knees didn’t allow dancing or squatting or lunges and running, amongst other things.
The ray of sunshine here is that when I get back strong, which is after 6 months from now, I can do the craziest workouts and kick some ass.
I’ve eaten out everyday of this week. I’ve also tried to meet some friends, but I’ve mostly spent my time working.
Some things are bothering me, such as:
I’m used to writing 20 Medium articles a month, this month I’ll lose that momentum (and stats, and money).
I don’t know what it’s like to NOT workout. Working out as soon as I wake up is what I’ve been doing for 7 years now.
The pain, the immobility for the first few weeks, the confinement to my bed for over a month. It won’t be easy.
But then for the work bit, I guess there will ALWAYS be work until you retire. About everything else, I suppose downs are a part of life. And like I mentioned, I will come back stronger and my knee issues will be fixed forever, surely thats worth a little downtime from other things.
I’m not sure if there will be a newsletter next week, and I don’t want to pre-plan one because that doesn’t feel real. But if there won’t be, it’s only because I’m unwell, okay?

A brief goodbye
You’ll see a lot less of me on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Medium this week (and maybe for longer).
I haven’t taken time off for myself since I quit my job, and I’ve been working 6 days a week for the last 10 weeks. After my surgery, I feel it’ll be healthy for my body and mind to rest and heal.
So it’s not a goodbye, but a brief pause. I do hope (as of now to see you next week. Meanwhile, hit reply and let me know when you read by e-Book + honest review.
Oh, also feel free to send movie recommendations! That’s all I’ll be doing in the coming few days.
