Hi friends,
How are you doing? I wrote 2 pages in my notebook to write to you about something, but I’m sitting next to my grandma typing this and I’m far away from an ideal working mood.
Anyhow, today’s newsletter is a mixed one. We’ll talk about:
A sad confession
Courage is calling
Traits of people who chase their dreams
Other updates for voracious readers
Also, we now have over 1500 subscribers! Woohoo!
A sad confession
Remember the viral Linkedin post I told you about in the previous newsletter? It’s still blowing up and has over 3.8 million views.
I was going over the comments today, there are over a thousand. I read hundreds of them sending me love, but two of them were negative.
The human mind is weird, those two got me low. I didn’t feel terrible or something but I definitely absorbed some negative energy.
I was rather annoyed that for somebody like me who preaches positivity, it’s so easy to feel bad about something so small. But well, I’ll continue to read the hundreds more for a dose of love and positivity.
Courage is calling
“There is nothing worth doing that is not scary. There is no one who has achieved greatness without wrestling with their own doubts, anxieties, limitations, and demons.” ― Ryan Holiday
I finished this book yesterday, it’s Ryan’s latest book.
I resonated with it deeply because the last few months for me have been huge, bold steps. Quitting my job at 25 in July, becoming a full-time writer, releasing an ebook, and now moving to a creative entrepreneurial side by launching my cohort-based course.
It all feels unreal, and crazy, if I can say.
“Don’t worry about whether things will be hard. Because they will be.” ― Ryan H.
All these decisions have had a lot of self-doubts and a high propensity for failure. Many decisions have failed, too. The highs are high and the lows are low.
But this book taught me that nothing in history was ever done by being fearful and safe. All great things required battling fears and taking the courageous step, something that fulfils your purpose and serves others.
This book motivated me to carry on doing what I do regardless of any bumps I may experience.
“True good fortune is what you make for yourself. Good fortune: good character, good intentions, and good actions.” - Marcus Aurelius

Life Update
I’ve completed two months of my surgery today, and yesterday was the first day I could sit on the floor and stand up. That means I can finally start doing some light core exercises! Also, walking up and down the stairs does not swell up my knees anymore. #babysteps
Course Update
Today we complete 13 days of my pilot run of the cohort-based course. The intention is to develop a sustainable writing habit in 21 days with some yummy strategies around writing, ideating, and creating.
If you’re a writer and this interests you, here’s the link to the waitlist for the next cohort starting in January 2022. There are currently 80+ people on the waitlist, and we can only take 40 people.
In the current cohort, we’re 40 people from 20 countries - a beautiful community indeed.
